Tabby - Brown / Domestic Short Hair-white (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Medium
This beautiful girl is Fall. She came to us after she had been dropped from a 2nd-story window as a kitten. She was a feisty young thing though and was not about to let that get her down. She was quite distrustful of people after her ordeal and it took a while for her to learn to trust. She is great with people now and has really blossomed into such a love.
Fall does have some residual weakness in her hind legs because of what happened to her and she should be provided with a shallow litter pan because of it. She may have problems getting in and out of a deeper pan. She does not like dogs or small children. We cannot be sure why that is but we believe it might be because both may go near her back end and that may make her nervous. She has not been inclined to like other cats a whole lot, but that could be because younger cats have too much energy for her or move too quickly, thus making her nervous. She might be good with older children and/or older cats. We can't be sure. The best home would likely be one where she could be the only pet and where her family would be patient with her while she adjusts to being in a new place. All our volunteers love her very much and she is the favorite of many people at the Whitehall Petco, where she is currently living. But Fall deserves her FURRever home and we'll all be so happy when that special person finally adopts her. Could that person be you? Fall is up to date on her shots, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and is altered. You can see her any time at the Whitehall Petco or during an adoption event every Saturday from 11 AM to 3 PM.
