This striking young girl is named Stowey. She got her name because she was found abandoned in a Stowaway Self-Storage facility. Poor Stowey was skin and bones and it took her a month of good food to gain enough weight to be spayed. She has proven herself to be a remarkable young cat. Stowey is only about 11 or 12 months old and has the sweetest, gentlest nature. She loves to be held on her back like a baby and sit for hours on laps. At her first adoption event she spent half of it calmly laying on my lap purring away. She is playful too and will wrestle with the kittens in her foster room (wrestle gently of course, she would never hurt one of them). Stowey looks to be probably half-Siamese. She has the long lanky body, wedge shaped head and large ears of a Siamese. She also has the most brilliant lime green eyes. Stowey would be great in any home whatsoever. All she needs now is a family who will give her the love she desires and deserves. She is one very special cat (and if her foster mom had room to keep her, she would be sorely tempted). Stowey is fostered in Belvidere, NJ. You can meet her there or at one of our upcoming adoption events. It's kitten season now so kittens tend to steal the show.
