Wowzers... what a kitten. This is Haiku. She's an Oriental Shorthair (basically a calico version of a Siamese). TRUCKLOADS of personality. She's a petite girl who fits the description of an Oriental Shorthair to a tee (please read up on the breed if you are interested in her). She has long, fine boned legs, svelte body, whiplike tail, wedgie head and largish ears. Her voice is even bigger than her purrsonality. Sometimes she talks at me and sometimes she talks to herself. You never have to guess what she's feeling because she'll tell you ALL about it! Like the Orientals and the Siamese, she is extra everything. She's extra-playful, extra-affectionate but she can also have an extra-attitude. It just makes her extra-interesting and extra-wonderful. Haiku is perfect for the cat fancier who has a soft-spot for the Oriental breeds. They are different and unlike your typical tabby. They require that the relationship (and life in general) be on their terms but they in turn provide an almost unequaled level of devotion to their human. Haiku is this way and must go to someone who will understand that she not your run of the mill kitty. She's a little princess and she knows it! Preference will go to adopters with experience with Siamese or other Oriental breeds. She's not a good first-cat but she's an awesome girl, typical of her breed who is going to make a best friend and devoted companion to a very lucky adopter.
