Dahlia is FIV positive but really does not require special care. Dahlia is a super sweet young lady who is 2 years old. She has such a great personality. She is a real "love bug". You can hold her in your arms and carry her around. She gives head butts while she is being held because she is so happy to be loved. She was a stray and the vet that took her in was going to euthanize her because she is positive for FIV. Cats with FIV can live a normal life and usually live to old age. They may have some medical issues but that is possible in any animal. They can co-exist with other cats because FIV (unlike FELV-leukemia) is only transmitted through deep puncture wounds. Dahlia is looking for a great lap and a great person to love her. You will fall for Dahlia the minute you see her.She gets along with other cats and dogs.
