Like his brother Primo, Carmello is one of the most even tempered, sweet, cuddly, big mush of a cat you will ever meet - no exaggeration. He can sit in your arms for hours at a time. And this is one big boy - at 7 months he looks to be at least 12 months in size. This just adds to a gentle giant persona.

One other special trait he has - he is Polydactyly , meaning he has additional toes on his front paws (7 toes on each to be exact). These cats are also known as Hemingway Cats since Hemingway was given a Polydactyly by a ship captain. To this day the Hemingway House in Key West, Florida maintains a colony descended from that original cat. Ships prized these cats because they were considered good luck. His extra toes cause no health issues or walking issues - it's just the way some cats are born.

He is great with kids, and due to his laid back nature seems fine with dogs. He will make a great addition to any household.
