Meet Hemi, the "Little Kitten Who Could." This sweet tabby melted his foster mom's heart when he arrived at her home, shortly after being rescued from a hot driveway. What appeared to be deformities on Hemi's feet and tail turned out to be superficial burns, which healed with love and carefully applied ointment. After recovering from malnutrition and an upper respiratory infection, Hemi blossomed into a fun loving kitten who plays hard and loves people, especially if they'll hold his favorite wand toys. Hemi loves to give kisses and has an adorable growl that comes out when he's "killing" his favorite feather toys. Because of his rough start in life he'll always be small for his age, but he makes up for it with his big personality.

He was raised going to work with his foster mom where there is a GIANT German Shepard, and loves when his foster mom's 7 year old nephew visits. In both situations, Hemi never hissed or hid, just showed curiosity and wanted to play. He's a brave little guy.
