Meet Neo

Neo is a sweet, stunning silver tabby with a spotted belly. He found himself outside when his family moved away, and after two years of outdoor life, he was rescued by FURR.

Neo is simply gorgeous. He is a big cat with a striking face. His personality is just as awesome. He was nervous at first (at his foster home, he hid in a drawer for two days) but they won him over quickly with wet food and now he really loves them. He enjoys being petted on his face and chin, as well as down his back. Sometimes, he even asks for belly rubs! He loves pets so much, he will use his paws as “hands” and try to pull your hand to his face for more pets!

Once Neo opened up, he followed his foster mom around and meowed back to her when she talked to him. He is also an expert biscuit maker. Over the last two weeks he really came out of his shell. He follows the kids around the house and even jumps up on his foster mom and dads’ laps and tries to steal their food!

Neo likes the very laid back resident male cat in his foster home. The rub on each other and eat side by side. He was a little afraid of the female foster cat in the home because she was a bit bossy. Neo would do fine with a relaxed cat who doesn’t try to push him around. He ignores the family dog, and she’s very cat savvy and ignores him too!

Neo is a little afraid of quick movements, so a calmer home with older children or cat-savvy children would be preferred. He likes the kids in his foster home (6, 9 and 15) but they are patient with him and wait for him to come to them for attention (which he regularly does).

Neo eats urinary health food and is thriving on it. He may need to be on it longer term, but it’s an easy lifestyle need of his for him to feel his best. This sweet boy is so deserving of his furrever family!
