Rescue Background:  Poor Willow was adopted from FURR 3 years ago as a kitten. Unfortunately, Willows owner had become too ill to care for herself or Willow any longer. Willow was again adopted and returned to FURR because the new family's 3 cats and Willow did not get along. Even after being returned twice to FURR Willow is still very loving and affectionate.

 

Personality:  Willow is extremely affectionate, sweet, sassy, smart, friendly, talkative, playful, active and curious kitty. She loves greeting you with little meows and chirps. She is definitely a "people-person/kitty and at times can be your shadow. Her favorite things include cuddles, being carrier around, giving big hugs, lots of pets, chin scratches and butt pats, a lap of her own, grooming and sleeping with her foster family. Willow has not learned what personal space means as she cannot get close enough to her foster family at times.  Willow would love to be an only pet so she can soak up all the attention and love you can provide. Willow is a great companion and wants nothing more than to be around people.

 

Playful Nature: Willow is surprisingly playful alone and with her foster family. Her favorite toys are plastic springs and the wand with bells and feathers. She will run chasing and batting after the plastic spring and then pick it up in her mouth meowing and dropping it to be thrown again and again. When Willow hears the bells from the wand she comes running. Willow will chase the wand and play tug a war with her foster family, and she loves grabbing the feathers out of your hand and running off. Willow will also happily play alone with the plastic spring carrying it around the house and dropping it and chasing it over and over. Willow will take a break to watch out the window at all the birds, squirrels and chipmunks with her tail twitching and chirping happily. 

 

Physical Beauty: Willow has the cutest little black smudge on her nose and gorgeous big green eyes go well with her tall, long and lean physique. Weighing 17lbs she is more than an armful. She is a black, brown and white Tabby with a white stripe on both shoulders. Willow has short silky fur that she keeps immaculate. 

 

Ready to Adopt: Willow is thriving in her foster home and is looking for a family that understands she will need a little time adjusting to a new home. Once Willow has warmed up be ready for this total lovebug that is always ready to play. Willow is getting along excellent with all the humans she encounters including visiting kids ages 5 and over.  Willow is ready to be your one and only Velcro kitty.  Willow deserves to find a furever home that will spoil her, provide her lots of attention and love.
