Bambi needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?
Bambi is a petite bright-eyed little brown Tabby girl who is about 2 years old. Her story up until now has been a sad one. Bambi and her "brother" Bali (not littermates) came from a home were they were not cared for properly. Unfortunately, the people who adopted these two sweet kitties did not pay much attention to them and never got them any vet care while they lived in their home. They were brought to FURR recently and both were suffering from infections. Both cats were extremely hand shy and anxious when we took them in.
Now both Bambi and Bali are healthy again and ready for a FURRever home. Bambi has come around nicely and is very friendly, loves kids, and has a very outgoing personality. Bali, on the other hand, has reverted back to the way he was when he was taken in as a feral kitten. His profile can be seen on our website. Thanks to the FURR volunteers that take care of Bambi everyday, she has blossomed into a wonderful kitty who is ready for her FURRever home. We believe Bambi would do best in a busy home with some regular activity and other cats or kids. She would probably not do as well in a home by herself since she is rediscovering her love of playing with others. Bambi is up to date on her shots, spayed, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in adopting Bambi she is currently living at the Whitehall Petco and can be seen there any time or more personally at adoption events every Saturday from 11 AM to 3 PM.
