Riptide is a beautiful white with orange cat.

Background: He and his buddy, Phoenix, were placed in a wonderful home through our Seniors 4 Seniors Program. Unfortunately, the senior gentleman they lived with was injured and is no longer able to care for them, so we recently took them back into foster care.

Seniors 4 Seniors Program: Riptide and Phoenix are available for adoption (together or separately) or for long-term fostering through this program. It's a great program where we match a senior cat with a senior citizen on a fixed income who is able to care for them. FURR remains responsible for all the veterinary care expenses. Personality: Riptide is VERY skittish and standoffish, and doesn't like people very much. This was made even worse by losing his home and the gentleman who took care of them. He needs someone who will love him even if he doesn't show love back.  

Fully Vetted: Both boys are neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped.

Adopt with Phoenix or Separately: We are hoping he and Phoenix can stay together, but since they're both so hard to place, it might not be possible. Riptide feels better near Phoenix.
